Grass Key is a continuation of our lineage, far way away from our birth place. Four generations, we understood that food is not just sustenance. It's an identity, a memory. One of the most direct way one person can take care of another. Long before the trend of fast foods, it was simply what our family did, and did properly without shortcuts, no compromise, or apology.
Every recipe on our menu was not written down. It was cooked by our great grand parents before us, refined before our birth, passed down to us through hands that understood these ingredients the way you understand your first language. Our OG's Jollof Rice to our Egusi Soup, Pepper Soup, or our Suya spice blend. These are not recipes we developed. They are recipes we inherited and we take that seriously.
